With a completely new concept for interior fittings, rational now sets new standards in the functionality and design of its kitchens.

The most visible expression of this new quality is the bright silky white that now radiates from drawers and pull-outs. A colour with its own aesthetic charm and whose neutrality not only makes it ideal for combining with any decor or lacquer colour, but equally for achieving ingenious contrasts. In keeping with this colour philosophy, the increased height sides - now a standard feature - are offered in a choice of whitened or blackened glass. The supporting element here is a newly designed double-walled and linear designed steel frame in silky white.

Alongside easy-care, high quality synthetic material in white and stainless steel, light-coloured ash is also offered as an exceptional material for the organization systems in drawers and pull-outs. For the first time a special insert is now available to accommodate valuable silver cutlery. Functional elements in pull-outs, as well as vertical and horizontal dividers or plate racks, providing safe, organized yet readily accessible storage for all types of utensils, have also been adapted to take up the new colour and material concept. In future in corner units and tall units with full-height pullout interiors the new colour and material concept of the interior fittings will be complemented by railing systems and baskets in shiny chrome. With its new interior fittings rational takes a further step towards confirming its position as a successful manufacturer of high quality fitted kitchens.
